Introduction
The Citizen Science Atmospheric Sensor, also referred to as I-Canopy (shown in the figue below), is built using Arduino devices in conjunction with the Bosch BME 280 atmospheric sensor. This versatile device comes equipped with built-in WiFi and LoRaWAN connectivity, along with an internal voltage monitoring system. It offers a cost-effective, low-power solution for monitoring various atmospheric properties, including temperature, pressure, and relative humidity, all within the network's coverage range. Moreover, it can seamlessly integrate with a soil sensor to provide soil temperature and moisture readings at different depths.
